The Tower of London poppies are heading to the North East

The world famous Weeping Windows art sculpture, which drew crowds of tourists and Londoners to see it, is heading for the North East.

This amazing art installation which was orignaly at the Tower of London in 2014, consists of over 800,000 individual poppies, each one representing a loss of life from the British and Colonial forces during the 1st World War.

It is coming to Woodhorn Museum in Ashington from Mid-September to Late-October.
